Apollo placed 2nd at the 2011 South Central Regional Championships with 96-92-96=284! He was high HOT for the SchH3 level and tied for high Obedience at SchH3 with his mom, Gana! He also qualified for the 2011 National Championships.

Apollo is from our first litter. He was the biggest, strongest puppy with a penchant for escaping. Nicknamed "Spoon" - if the name fits! - because he is very happy and a bit silly.

He is a high drive and very willing dog. In protection work, he has a crushing grip and good aggression. He has his father's extreme ball drive and his mother's physical strength and stamina.

Apollo completed his CD (AKC Companion Dog obedience title) at 2 years old. He achieved his SchH1 with 91-92-90 and was awarded the High SchH1 and High Obedience trophies. He passed his Schh2 just a couple of months later in August 2010 with High SchH2. He completed his first SchH3 at the SCR Regional Championships in February 2011, then his IPO3 in April. He competed at his first national level competition (the WDC) just before his 4th birthday in May 2011.

Apollo's father is our own Bodeus who was also handler-owner-trained by us from a puppy to SchH3 IPO3 VPG3 FH AD UD NA TC CGC WUSV. Bodeus is line-bred on Arec Bunsenkocher and the G litter vom Körbelbach, his pedigree contains other notable WUSV participants Link vom Muikenshof and Wumm von der Kaisersaule as well as herding lines known for their intelligence and biddability.

Apollo's mother is our own Gana who was also handler-owner-trained by us from a puppy to SchH3 AD TC CGC. Gana is line-bred 5-5 Afra vom Stoppenberger Land, with excellent producing Karthago females on her mother's side, and also Mink and Arthus Lunsholz. Gana's father Orry, competed at the BSP and his mother, Wespe is one of the famous 'W' litter Wannaer Höhen. Gana has several full siblings from the G, I, J and L litter Wannaer Höhen who are titled and competing in Schutzhund and also several who are Police Dogs in Germany and the US.
